I am sitting here in my little branch inside a grocery store, and we have been dead all day long. I think I have done a total of 23 transactions when usually, each of us get about 60 a day. Blah. So, I decided to look at some of my pictures I took when I was in Maine! The one I posted is one of my favorite scenic ones, so I thought I would share with you all!
Working at a bank is rather uneventful, especially with an economy like this... There aren't many people that have enough money to put into a savings account :( It's really hard sometimes, seeing these really nice customers come in that are having such a hard time financially, and it makes me feel sad for them. But on the other hand, there are those people who spend money carelessly and are constantly overdrawn... That gets old fast. They are usually the one's with the sob story and excuses. On the bright side, I have access to the Internet which allows me to stay somewhat occupied by reading the news and all that fun stuff!
Today feels like Friday because I have tomorrow off! I am quite excited because I get to see Matt tonight, and that always puts a smile on my face! This week I have an unusual schedule. Monday/Tuesday are normal work days, Wednesday I have off, work Thursday/Friday/Saturday, and then I have Sunday/Monday off. Oh, how I love banking holidays :D hehe This job is much better than working at a grocery store like I did for 3 years. No fun.
So I will stop rambling on about work now :) Lots of driving to do tonight, and a few stops to make before I head North to Oak Harbor. Part of me always looks forward to the drive that I make every Friday night (I never look forward to leaving on Monday mornings) Not only because the end result of the drive is Matt (duh) but driving is peaceful and relaxing if I need it to be, or it gives me the chance to sing really loud and rock out to my music in my awesome 1992 Toyota Corolla... HA! funny sight, I must say, and I think tonight may be one of those nights :D
On a completely different note, I have to start going to the gym, and maybe by saying this on here for everyone to see, it will kick my butt into gear? who knows, but I sure hope so!!! I need to look fit for my man hahaha oh, and feel better about myself, I guess ;)
So there is a tid-bit on my day... really wasn't that exciting but if you know me, I always tend to find something to talk about :D and I could probably keep typing forever! But, I will stop!
